Weekly hire of the cottage is from Saturday to Saturday.  Entry is from 4pm on day of arrival to 10am on day of departure.  Part weekly lets out of season are generally charged pro-rata, time and days by arrangement.

On confirmation of reservation, a booking fee of £50 per week is required.  This is returnable by post within one week of departure less electricity used and charged at cost.  Meter readings are taken on arrival and on departure.  Any damage or loss to the cottage or the contents will also be deducted from the deposit.  Telephone bookings should be confirmed in writing within 7 days.

PAYMENT - an invoice will be sent eight weeks in advance of date of hire.  Payment should be received six weeks in advance of date of hire.  If payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to re-let the cottage.

CANCELLATION - in event of cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable. If the full hire charge has been paid at the time of cancellation, this will be refunded to the Hirer, in full, provided the cottage is re-let. Should the cottage remain unlet, the Hirer is responsible for the FULL amount of the hire charge. In this event, the deposit will be refunded, less any costs incurred attempting to re-let the property. Every effort will be made to re-let the property, but it is strongly recommended that the Hirer take out insurance cover.

The cottage must not be occupied by any other persons than those named on the booking form without the Owner’s consent.

There is strictly no smoking allowed in the cottage.

We regret - no pets except under very special circumstances.
